Your package from Printhia.sk has just arrived? Great! To help your new decoration or gadget bring you joy for as long as possible, we have prepared a few simple care tips for you.

3D prints are durable, but they have their own specifics that are good to know.

  1. Watch out for heat (the summer enemy):
    Most decorations are made from PLA material. It starts to soften at temperatures above 60 °C.

    • Tip: Do not put prints in the dishwasher, and do not leave them in a car window or in direct harsh sunlight for hours during summer.

  2. Cleaning is a breeze:
    A damp cloth or a soft brush is enough for regular dust cleaning. Do not use aggressive chemicals or solvents: they could damage the surface or the color of the plastic.

  3. Mechanical durability:
    Although prints are sturdy, they are made up of layers. Under extreme pressure, they can crack exactly at the layer bond. Treat them like hard plastic, not like steel.

  4. Small threads? No problem:
    Occasionally you may find a thin plastic "cobweb" on the product (so called stringing). Just gently remove it with your fingers or blow warm air on it for a second (for example with a hairdryer held at a distance), and it will disappear.With proper care, our products will last you for years without changing.
