KUMO vs Lumira: Which Lamp Is for Whom
AlexShare
KUMO and Lumira are both Slovak 3D printed designer lamps, but they're made for different people. Here's the difference in one sentence: KUMO is modular, Lumira is sculptural.
KUMO, for the mood changer
Three removable modules. Taken apart and reassembled in three minutes. When you stop liking the lampshade, you don't need to buy a new lamp, just a new lampshade. Ideal for a home office where you tweak the design every month.
Lumira, for those who know what they want
One piece, one shape, one purpose. Lumira is more of a sculpture than a lamp. Once you set it on a console table in the living room, nothing needs to change again, because it doesn't have to. Ideal for people who buy once and for good.
On price
KUMO has a lower entry price, since you can start with a single module. Lumira costs more, but you get the complete piece. Both are made in Prešov, both have the same E27 socket.
Can't decide? Ask yourself whether you rearrange your interior often or rarely move at all. If the former, choose KUMO. If the latter, choose Lumira.
