Printhia ships orders within 48 hours. Packeta delivers across Slovakia the next working day. Both are true. But between "shipped within 48 hours" and "package in hand tomorrow morning" sit five variables that can shift your timeline. Here they are.

1. Weekends

Packeta does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. Only some Z-boxes operate 24/7. An order placed on Friday afternoon effectively means delivery on Tuesday, not Monday. If you need the gift by Saturday, order by Wednesday at the latest.

2. Public holidays

Easter, Christmas, May 1st. Couriers run late, post offices close. Around holidays, always add two extra days to the normal calendar.

3. The photo for a lithophane or 3D picture

If the photo you send with your order doesn't have enough resolution, we call you. That exchange adds at least one working day. Ideally, send the photo straight from your phone's original gallery, not through Messenger (it compresses the image).

4. Order time

An order placed after 2:00 PM no longer ships the same day. It only counts as the first day of the 48-hour window from the next day. So if you click at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, shipping happens on Thursday.

5. Z-box versus home delivery

With home delivery, the courier sometimes arrives when no one is home. The package then waits until the next day. A Z-box is more reliable down to the minute, and you open it through the Packeta app.

If you need the gift by an exact date, order four working days in advance. If you just need it before the date without a fixed day, three days is enough.
