A Wedding 3D Picture: When to Order It So You Make the Deadline
AlexShare
The most common question we get with wedding orders is: "I need it by Friday, I'm ordering on Wednesday, will it make it?" The answer is yes, but only under specific conditions. And you are better off leaving more time for it.
The realistic timeline looks like this. From the moment you order, we have 48 hours to print and pack. Packeta delivers within Slovakia the next day, and that is a standard, not a promise. All together, count on at least 72 hours from clicking "order" to having the package in hand. To be safe, do not avoid adding two extra days.
With a wedding, though, there is one more factor: checking the photo. For wedding gifts, people want shared moments of the couple, which often come from social media or old phones. The resolution is often poor. That is when we call you and ask for a replacement. Handling this step can add a day.
The complete, realistic schedule looks like this. Wedding on Saturday? Order by Monday of the same week at the latest, but ideally a week ahead. Wedding on Friday? Order by Sunday of the previous week at the latest. Want the gift delivered home in a frame rather than to the wedding? Count on three weeks ahead so you also have time to add your dedication.
What to do if you missed the window? We have one solution: a digital voucher with a photo of the gift on paper, which you hand over at the wedding, and we deliver the physical picture later. It is not as nice as having the finished gift, but it saves the situation. More about the options on our contact page.
The wedding does not move. The order can.
